A masterpiece of Indian craftsmanship, the POTLI Handmade Ganjifa Dashavatar Playing cards is a stunning collection of 120 handmade cards depicting the ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu.
The Dashavatar cards are perfect for playing traditional Indian game of Ganjifa, but they also lend themselves beautifully to variations of modern games such as poker and Teen Patti, its three-card version popular in India. The set can also be used for display or as a conversation piece. They are a unique and beautiful way to bring a touch of Indian culture into your home.
In this exclusive set, each card has been carefully hand crafted and hand painted by the Chitrakaars (skilled artists) of Orissa in Pattachitra style of painting. Each card has been made through an intricate and long process using old cotton saris , and then painted delicately using squirrel hair brushes and crushed stone colours. The cards feature intricate detailing and intricate motifs, making them a work of art in their own right.
Care Instructions- water resistant but not water proof. Keep away from long exposure to sun and water.
